Description

Approximately 150 miles of pure Death Valley off-road fun! This route will bring you to the Eureka Dunes, Steel Pass, Marble Bath, Saline Valley Hot Springs, Saline Valley Road, past Lippincott Mine road, Hunter Mountain Pass, Hidden Valley, Teakettle Junction, Racetrack, and Ubehebe Crater. There is much to explore in this remote and pristine area of Death Valley National Park including ghost Towns and mining relics. 4X4 and excellent tires are obligatory. Somewhat stock friendly but expect some undercarriage scraping through Steel Pass. Bring plenty of water and enough supplies for a few extra days as this is an infrequently traveled/ ranger patrolled route. Bring 5-10 gal of extra gas.
